Pavel A. Vorobiev (25.04.1958, Moscow) from a family of doctors. Father - Andrei I. Vorobiev, Academician, Professor, has been more than 20 years the Head of Hematology Research Center, as well as the Minister of Health of Russia (1991-1992). Mother - Inna P. Kolomoytseva, MD, PhD, chief physician of the Clinic of Nervous Diseases at 1 MOLGMI named after I.M. Sechenov (1968-1973), physician-neuropathologist.

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Hematology and Geriatrics of First MGMU named after I.M. Sechenov since 1997, the founder and President of the Inter-regional public organization "Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research", Deputy Chairman of Formulary Committee of RAMS, Chairman of the Moscow City Scientific Society of Physicians since 2012

Areas of research: clinical medicine: problems of hemostasis disorders, anemic syndrome, intensive care, renal failure, geriatrics; organization of healthcare: standardization, quality management, health technology assessment, availability of medical care, provision of medicines, blood and transfusion service; clinical pharmacology: methodology of clinical trials, the clinical and economic analysis, geriatrics pharmacology. Prepared 5 doctors and 13 candidates in various clinical specialties (rheumatology, geriatrics, cardiology, health organization, internal medicine).

Publications: Author and co-author of over 50 books, 20 training manuals and recommendations, 11 manuals, handbooks and dictionaries, 342 scientific articles and 354 abstracts.
